Christ, Our All In All

Colossians 1:15-23

1. Christ is Supreme!

• Christ is the image of the Invisible God. 1:15
• ALL things were created by him and for him. 1:16
• Christ is the glue that holds everything together. 1:17

2. Christ is the Head of the church.

• Christ came to bring reconciliation for all things. 1:20
• Reconciliation is possible because Jesus shed his blood on the cross. 1:20
• Peace comes only through the blood of Jesus. 1:20

3. What does all this mean for us?

• We can appear holy in his sight! 1:22
• We can be free of accusation. 1:22
• Our call is to continue in our faith, established and firm, holding fast to the hope held out in the gospel. 1:23
