- Paying a price is great when we do it at God’s bidding. 1:25
2. Secure and mature.
- To grow up in our faith, we need to understand the word of God in all it’s fullness. 1:25
- Those who work for God work as servants. 1:25
- Paul’s goal was that those who follow Jesus would grow to maturity. 1:28
3. Christ in you, the hope of glory. 1:27
- What do we proclaim? The glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. 1:27
- Paul’s desire for us is that we be encouraged in heart, united in love, and have the full riches of a complete understanding. 2:2
- All of these things come from knowing Christ. Christ is a treasure! 2:2-3
