To Be Wise

Luke 6:46-49

1. Walking the walk.

• “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46
• If Jesus is Lord, then it makes sense to obey him.
• Have you examined the evidence as to his Lordship?

2. A sure foundation.

• It is not just the hearing of Jesus words that is important, but the putting of them into practice. Luke 47
• One must dig down deep to have a sure footing in life.6:48
• The storms of life will surely come, but the one walking with Jesus will not be troubled. Luke 6:48

3. Choices.

• The man who ignores the words of Jesus will face destruction one day. Luke 6:49
• Jesus claims that putting his words into practice, will bring you true security from the storms of life. 6:48
• Jesus calls us to come and follow.
