God Is Faithful!

I Corinthians 1:1-9

1. A word for us!

• Paul is called by God to be an apostle. 1:1
• Paul writes to all who are sanctified in Christ who are called to be holy, he is writing to you and me! 1:2
• Grace and peace are God’s to give. 1:3

2. Thanksgiving.

• Because of God’s grace extended to the church in Corinth, Paul thanks God. 1:4
• It was in Christ that the people of the church in Corinth were enriched in every way. 1:5

3. Equipment.

• The people were equipped after hearing the testimony about Jesus Christ. 1:6
• It is Christ Jesus who keeps us strong, he meets our needs and gives us the gifts that we require. 1:7-8
• In Christ we will be found blameless on the day of his return. He is faithful, and he will do what he has promised! 1:8-9
