The Prize
October 25th, 2009I Corinthians 9:1-27
1. A laborer is worthy of his hire.
- A man is known by the fruit of his labors. I Cor. 9:2
- Some believed that Paul did not deserve help. I Cor. 9:3
- Paul did not claim his rights as an apostle, instead he served freely that the gospel might not be hindered. I Cor. 9:12
2. Paul desired that all might believe in Jesus.
- I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I Cor. 9:22
- The gospel brings blessings to those who serve it. I Cor. 9:23
3. Commit yourself that you might win.
- Train so that you might receive the prize. I Cor. 9:25
- Let us not run aimlessly; let us run for the prize. I Cor. 9:26
- Let us pray and work towards the end that people might believe in Jesus!
