The Mark of a Disciple

I Corinthians 16:5-24

1. Directed by the Lord.

• Paul desires to spend extended time with the Corinthian’s, but God will have to decide. 16:7
• God opens the door for effective work. 16:9
• Where God is at work, many times the devil is as well.16:9

2. Being and doing.

• Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith. 16:13
• Be men of courage; be strong. 16:13
• Do everything in love. 16:14

3. Grace and love.

• Paul ends this letter asking for the grace of the Lord Jesus to be with them. 16:23
• Then he tells them that he loves them. 16:24
