The Lamb on the Throne

1. Palms are waved.

• They took palm branches and went out to meet Jesus, shouting Hosanna! John 12:13
• This Sunday marks a day of celebration as we remember Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
• The people heard that Jesus was on his way, so they went to him with palm branches. John 12:12-13

2. Fast Forward.

• In a vision John saw a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb. Revelation 7:9
• They were holding palm branches in their hands crying out to the Lamb. Revelation 7:9
• They cried: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” Revelation 7:10

3. Access to the Throne.

• We have access to the very throne of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Revelation 7:14
• Our shepherd, Jesus Christ will lead us to springs of living water. Revelation 7:17
• And our God will wipe every tear from our eyes. Rev. 7:17
